Comping NTL solution successfully implemented in one of Europe's largest DSOs

Comping NTL is an advanced solution and service designed for the identification, analysis, and prevention of non-technical losses (NTL) in electricity distribution systems, such as energy theft, meter tampering, or billing errors.

The solution has already been proven in practice through a successful implementation at one of the largest European electricity distribution operators (DSOs), which manages more than three million meters. Advanced scenarios have been implemented that monitor several different segments such as consumption, production, meter readings, power, and meter replacement.

The foundation of the system is advanced analytics and machine learning, which enable users to quickly recognize suspicious behavior patterns and precisely direct field inspections.

The Comping NTL service is targeted at distribution system operators (DSOs) in countries with significant distribution losses, such as Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, and Eastern European markets, as well as markets outside Europe where non-technical losses are estimated to reach up to 60% of total losses.

The service can be adapted to local regulatory requirements and technological frameworks.

Compared to the competition, Comping NTL stands out through implementation speed, deeper integration with existing IT systems, and proven results in large operational environments.
