Networking

Software-defined networking

The widespread adoption of cloud computing has changed the structure of networks delivering applications and services available over the Internet. One of the most significant changes in managing network resources is software virtualization of hardware.

The main goal of this approach is to oversee every element of active network equipment (applications, monitoring, infrastructure) from a single, centralized point.

This provides a better overview of network resources and simplifies management and administration of a new system, also making it much faster to install.

SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network)

A growing demand for SD-WAN infrastructure - a consequence of digitization - changes how technologies are used. As a result, an increasing number of companies are using more and more services and applications from public clouds (SaaS) or moving their most essential services and even complete infrastructures to the cloud.

In such environment the traditional approach to WAN infrastructure is no longer practical, so artificial intelligence and machine learning are increasingly used in their implementation. SD-WAN technology optimizes access to public cloud services and guarantees high performance and constant availability of applications. Last but not the least: SD-WAN network is a self-learning network.
