Our legacy
1988.The Comping trade was founded, with the primary activity of assembling and selling computers, program support and providing IT services. Two years later, Comping became Comping Ltd.
1998.Comping receives the HP Authorised Support Provider status for all Hewlett Packard IT equipment and retains the status of Microsoft Solution Provider, obtained a year earlier. We also established a branch in Osijek – Comping Osijek Ltd.
2004.We designed and implemented the entire IT system of the Customs of the Republic of Croatia, under the auspices of the World Bank. The whole project was evaluated with the highest marks and declared the best overall solution of the year. A year later, we established the Banking Department intending to provide consulting services in the banking business.
2008.Comping becomes Microsoft Gold Certified Partner while retaining the status of HP Software Platinum Business Partner and HP Preferred GOLD Partner, thus standing out as one of the few companies in the region with more than 10 competencies. We completed the implementation projects of the Finacle Treasury solution (support for the bank's treasury operations), Cash management solutions (support for the bank's cash payment operations) at HPB and the HP Service Manager in Zagreb.
2018.Comping signs a collaboration with the Indian technology giant SunTec, to establish a support centre for European banks. We gain VMware Premier Partner status, the highest categorization in VMware's partner network. The 100th employee arrives at the company. The London Stock Exchange Group listed Comping as one of the 1,000 companies that inspire Europe.
2019.Comping receives ISO 20000 and 27001 certifications. Transformation into SaaS. Development of the ThingsTalk platform. The number of employees exceeds 100. Signed partnership with SAS Software and strengthened domain of analytical software and solutions. With Dell, we achieve Partner Platinum status.
2020.We win Dell's Net New Business Partner of The Year awards - Net New Business Partner of The Year in Croatia and Net New Business Partner of The Year in the Adriatic Region as the youngest Dell partner in the region. With Dell, we achieve the highest partner status - Titanium.
2021.We have acquired the majority of the business of the company Megatrend Business Solutions. This created our new business entity, the company Data Target. We achieved Platinum Partner status with IBM.
2022.Comping forms a gold partnership with the software company Talend, a long-time leader in the domain of data integration and cataloguing solutions. In the same year, Comping entered into a partnership with the company Cloudera, which further expands the offer of its data services into the field of data engineering, i.e. the processing of large amounts of data. The 150th employee joins the Comping group.
